The Mid-20s Phase: Am I Enough?

Image
E ver found yourself staring at the ceiling at 2 AM, wondering if you’re not enough?   Or questioning if you’re not worthy or perhaps just a bad person? It’s a haunting feeling, isn’t it? The emptiness and sadness that seem to follow you around like shadows. Is this just a part of the mid-20s life phase, or is it something deeper? I’m at a point where I expect so much from the people around me, hoping they’ll understand my struggles and insecurities. But then reality slaps me in the face — they don’t understand, and maybe they don’t want to. Ever happened to you? You’re in the middle of the day, juggling office work, giving it your all, yet still being told you did something wrong. It’s like no matter how hard you try, it’s never enough. Have you ever felt that way? This phase of life is all about betrayals, letting go, and facing the harsh truth that people we thought we could rely on, we can’t. But what happens when we spend our lives chasing this dream, only to find it remains just out of reach? For many, happiness feels like a mirage in a desert. We see it in the distance, shining and promising relief, but no matter how far we travel or how hard we try, it always slips away as we get closer. We think we’ll find happiness in reaching our goals, getting more money, or hitting certain life milestones. But once we achieve those things, the happiness is short-lived, and we’re left searching for the next thing that might finally bring us joy. One of the most disappointing realizations is that happiness, as we imagine it, may not exist. We live in a world that constantly tells us to be happy, to find joy in every moment, to live our best lives. But this endless pursuit often leaves us feeling more empty than fulfilled. The press...
